About

Hi,

I’m Mike, and I am here to help you with all your lawn care needs. I have a passion for landscaping and lawn care that I wanted to share with the world. That’s why I created Weed Eater Guides.

I have been a professional landscaper for the past 20 years and learned a thing or two when it comes to making a yard look its best. This site is filled with the knowledge I have learned over those decades so that you can learn all I did – hopefully in a much shorter time.

Weed Eater Guides specializes in products used to keep your yard looking great.  Weed eaters, lawn mowers, multiple saws, leaf blowers  and string trimmers are some categories covered. I have handpicked the best of the best and review each one, giving you all the details you would ever need to make a smart buying decision.

Or maybe you want to learn how to put string, or fix your weed eater. You can find many repair guides, How To’s, and other informative articles that I have created to help get you back to weed eating and making your yard look beautiful.

Weed Eater Is Just a Weed Eater?

So you think a weed eater is just a weed eater, right? It’s got a handle, a spool of trimming string, a guard and a motor. Nothing complicated, nothing fancy, and one is just as good as another. But you’d be wrong! Contrary to popular belief, all weed eaters are not in fact alike!

Some are gas powered, some are battery powered and quite a few are even corded for electric power. Some weed eaters can be turned into edgers, while others don’t allow for edging at all. Some can run for days, while others can only run for a maximum of a certain number of hours. Some are near silent and some have a drone that will give you a splitting headache if you’re not careful. Some are so lightweight a child can pick them up and others are so heavy that a full grown man has to take regular breaks while using it.

You get weed eaters with automatic feeding spools and then there’s ones that have old fashioned manual spools. Some weed eaters even have twin or double trimmer lines! By drawing on the experience and expertise of individuals such as myself who have been in the lawn and yard maintenance industry for years, as well as the opinions and reviews from normal everyday gardeners along with our own field tests, I’ve set out to review all the best weed eaters on the market.

And then I summarize everything I’ve learned and share it here on my site where you can find out everything there is to know about each machine, without having to browse through dozens of sites and hundreds of customer product reviews!

Weed eaters are highly functional and useful gardening tools so it’s best to be sure you’re getting the machine that suits your needs! You don’t want a cheap knock off that’s going to cost you more money than it’s worth and you definitely don’t want to waste your hard earned money on a tool so powerful that it’s essentially useless to you!

Final Words

So thanks for visiting, and enjoy your browsing!
